Rejuvenation! What an amazing feeling. Settle your mind and cleanse your inner self with a stress relief session of energetic bodywork that will help your mind and body to relax. A body that is stress-free can more easily fight disease and sickness. Any time of year is a great time to treat yourself! This is a simple meditation I came across that is great for a quick de-stress after a long day:

  • Sit up straight in a quiet room with minimal distractions.
  • Gaze at a spot on the wall and take 5-6 even breaths in and out.
  • Imagine a stream of energy or light coming in through the top of your head and slowly moving down from your head through your spine and down through your feet and out reaching into the ground.
  • Once that energy/light has taken solid ground feel it rise back up through your feet, legs, etc. until it reaches your heart. Push it out and around your body, noticing how it makes you feel lighter and empowered.
  • After 10-15 minutes slowly begin to move your arms and legs until you feel settled and ready to take on whatever comes.
